INGREDIENTS:
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
1 c. butter (2 sticks) softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour, unsifted
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. Hershey’s mini chip (or regular chocolate chips)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease shallow pan (9 x 13 inch) with butter. In food processor or mixer, cream together both sugars and butter. Add eggs, extracts and continue to mix. In another large mixing bowl, mix together flour, salt, and baking soda. Add creamed mixture and blend well. Add chocolate mini chips and stir in.
Spread cookie batter in the pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes (until just golden brown). They will look soft in middle and if you desire and more cake like bar, bake 5 to 10 minutes longer. (We prefer them very soft).
