INGREDIENTS:
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, separated
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. water
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
DIRECTIONS:
Lightly grease jelly roll pan or cookie sheet. Mix butter, sugar and egg yolk. Blend flour and cinnamon; stir in butter mixture. Pat in pan, beat water and egg white until frothy, brush over dough. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake 20-25 minutes or until lightly brown at 350 degrees. Cut immediately into bars.
