INGREDIENTS:
1 c. mayonnaise
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. hot water
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. walnuts
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. coconut
DIRECTIONS:
Cream the butter and sugar. Add the hot water and stir in the oatmeal, vanilla and baking soda. Add the rest of the ingredients (batter should be very stiff). Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Makes 5 dozen.

INGREDIENTS:
1 heaping tbsp. Crisco
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. raisins
2 c. oatmeal
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Nuts if desired
DIRECTIONS:
Cook raisins in 1/2 cup water for 5 minutes, cool and drain. Cream shortening and sugar: add eggs lightly beaten. Add raisins, milk, and oatmeal. Sift flour, salt, soda, baking powder, and cinnamon together. Add to first mixture. Add 3/4 cup butterscotch chips. Drop on greased cookie sheet by spoonfuls. Bake in 400 degree oven.

3/4 c. shortening or butter
1 egg, beaten
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. quick oatmeal
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c. flour
DIRECTIONS:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add egg, mashed bananas, salt, quick oatmeal, soda and flour. Drop by small spoonful on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes.
