Magic Cookie Bars

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 (14 oz.) Eagle Brand milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 1/2 c. coconut

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In 9×13 inch baking pan, melt butter in oven. Sprinkle crumbs over butter, mix together and press into pan. Pour condensed milk evenly over crumbs. Top evenly with chocolate chips, walnuts, and coconut. Press down firmly. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until lightly browned. Cool thoroughly before cutting. Store loosely covered at room temperature.

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate morsels
1 (3 1/2 oz) can flaked coconut
1 c. chopped nuts

DIRECTIONS:

Combine graham crackers and butter. Press graham cracker mixture in 13 x 9 pan. Pour chocolate morsels over graham crackers. Sprinkle with coconut and chopped nuts. Press into graham cracker mixture. Pour condensed milk over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until top is golden brown. Cool thoroughly, cut into squares.

Luther College “Yummy” Bar Cookies

INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter

Combine and pack into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

TOPPING:

2 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt, optional

Spread over baked mixture; sprinkle with 1 (6 ounce) package chocolate chips and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Bake another 25 minutes.
