INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS:

3 c. flour, sifted
1 scant tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder

Cut into this 1 cup shortening. In another bowl beat:

2 eggs
4 tbsp. sweet milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat well and pour over dry ingredients. Chill dough and roll thin and cut. Bake at 375 degrees until nicely brown.
