Christmas Cookie Icing

INGREDIENTS:

1 c. confectioners’ sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice (approximately) or 1/2 tsp. vanilla & 1 tbsp. milk

DIRECTIONS:

Sift 1 cup confectioners’ sugar, enough lemon juice to make easy to spread (about 1 tablespoon) (or use 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or other flavoring and about 1 tablespoon milk). Tint with food coloring if desired. The icing will harden with time.
