INGREDIENTS:

2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda (dissolved in hot water)
4 tbsp. whiskey
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. pecans, chopped
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. dates

DIRECTIONS:

Mix first 7 ingredients well. Then add nuts, cherries and dates. Bake in 350 degree oven.
