INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
DIRECTIONS:
Refrigerate 2-3 hours. Bake at 375 degrees for 7-8 minutes.
CONFECTIONERS’ SUGAR FROSTING:
1/4 c. butter
4 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/4 c. scalded cream
1 tsp. vanilla
DIRECTIONS:
Blend until smooth. Make slightly thin so that it smooths out as it sets up.
