German Christmas Cookies

INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS:
By hand cream together: 1 lb. sugar (2 full cups sugar) Rind of 1 lemon

Add: 4 1/2 to 5 c. reg. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. vanilla

This dough must be kept in refrigerator overnight and kept cool while rolling some of it out for cookies. After rolling out cookies 1/4 inch, use sprinkles or nuts on them. Do not grease or flour sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Makes about 160 small cookies.
