INGREDIENTS:
COOKIE:
3 2/3 c. self-rising flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2/3 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. milk
ICING:
1 box confectioners’ sugar
3 egg whites, beaten stiff
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Food color
DIRECTIONS:
Cooking: Mix and chill. Roll and cut. Bake at 400 degrees for 9 minutes. (Check at 5 minutes.)
Icing: Mix stiff egg whites, sugar and cream of tartar. Add food color to desired color.
Note: 5 pound bag of flour makes approximately 4 recipes.
