INGREDIENTS:

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. baby oatmeal (I like the mixed flavor)
Chocolate chips (miniature)
Nuts

DIRECTIONS:

Cream shortening. Add sugars, eggs, vanilla, and milk. Add dry ingredients, chips, and nuts. Bake at 325 degrees. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
