Iced Pumpkin Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

1 c. Crisco
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 c. pumpkin
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:

Cream together the shortening, sugar, pumpkin, and egg. Mix well. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Drop from spoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 to 12 minutes. Frost with either vanilla or cream cheese icing.
