INGREDIENTS:
1 cup shortening (part butter or margarine)
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup cinnamon drops (candies)

DIRECTIONS:
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Mix flour, cream of tartar, soda, salt and cinnamon. Stir into shortening mixture. Add cinnamon drops. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10
