INGREDIENTS:
1 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
INGREDIENTS:
Chill dough. Roll into teaspoon balls. Roll ball into a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until lightly browned, but still soft, in a 400 degree oven for 8-10 minutes. These cookies will puff up at first, then flatten out with crinkled tops. Yield: 5 dozen cookies.
