INGREDIENTS:
2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. seedless raisins or chopped dates
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. milk
1 c. coarsely chopped nuts
DIRECTIONS:
Combine flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar. Mix well, stir in milk, nuts and raisins. Pour batter into greased 5×9 inch loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Turn onto a rack to cool.
