Brown Sugar Pound Cake

INGREDIENTS:
1 box light brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. all vegetable shortening
1 stick butter
5 lg. eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. self rising flour
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
1 c. pecans, chopped

DIRECTIONS:
Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Mix milk, vanilla and maple flavorings and add, alternately with flour. Add nuts. Bake in large tube pan at 325 degrees for one and one half hours. DO NOT OPEN oven door before cooking time is up.
