INGREDIENTS:
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2-3 tbsp. cold water
1/3 c. + 1 tbsp. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. milk
DIRECTIONS:
Mix flour and salt. Cut in shortening. Add cold water; mix until dough forms a ball. Roll into 1/8″ thick. Cut 5″ or 6″ circles. Put in pan(s). To prepare filling, put eggs, milk and vanilla in bowl. Beat until foamy. Add brown sugar; mix, put into tart shells, approximately 1/3 full. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
