Christmas Butter Cookies

Christmas Butter Cookies

Ingredients

* 1 cup soft butter (real butter only)
* 2 tbsp vanilla
* 3 cup flour
* 2/3 cup sugar
* 2 eggs
* 1/2 tbsp salt

Directions

1.Cream butter until light and fluffy.

2.Add sugar.

3.Gradually stir in vanilla.

4.Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.

5.Blend in flour and salt.

6.Mix well.

7.Wrap dough and chill for at least 2 hours.

8.Lightly flour a pastry cloth and rolling pin.

9.Roll dough to about 1/8″ thickness.

10.Cut into desired shape.

11.Place 1″ apart on cookie sheets.

12.Bake at 350°F.

13.For 10 minutes or until lightly brown.

14.Cool, frost and decorate.
