Recipe ingredients:
* 1 cup shortening
* 1 cup brown sugar
* 1 cup white sugar
* 2 eggs
* 2 cups chopped gum drops, spiced
* 2 teaspoons vanilla
* 1/2 cup milk
* 3 cups flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 2 teaspoon cinnamon
* 1/4 teaspoon ginger
* 1/4 teaspoon cloves
Recipe method:
* Cream together shortening with sugars.
* Add eggs then blend.
* Add dry ingredients with milk.
* Add the cut spiced gum drops and vanilla.
* Drop onto greased cookie sheet approximately 2 inches apart.
* Bake in a 350 degrees F oven until golden brown.
