INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. molasses
2 eggs
4 tsp. baking soda
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
DIRECTIONS:
Additional sugar to roll cookies inCream shortening and sugar. Add molasses and eggs; beat well. Add dry ingredients and stir until dough is well mixed. Form one inch balls, roll in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
