Applesauce Cookies, Sugar-Free
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cloves
1/8 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. quick, cook oats
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. applesauce
1/4 c. melted shortening
1 unbeaten egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. liquid sweetener
DIRECTIONS:
Sift together flour, cinnamon, soda, nutmeg, cloves and allspice. Stir in oats and raisins. Combine applesauce, shortening, egg, vanilla and liquid sweetener. Blend well and add to dry ingredients. Mix until moistened.
Drop by spoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. 57 calories per cookie.
