Fat Free Oatmeal Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

1 c. flour
1 c. quick oats
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 egg whites
1/3 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisins

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray cookie sheets with no-stick cooking spray. In a large bowl combine dry ingredients. Stir in egg whites, corn syrup and vanilla until well mixed. Add raisins. (Batter will be stiff.) Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 10 minutes or until firm. Do not overbake. Remove; cool on wire rack. Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies. (For low-fat chocolate chip cookies, add 1 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup walnuts.) Unbelievably good!
