8 apples, peeled and cut up
INGREDIENTS:
1 (12 oz.) can frozen apple juice, unsweetened
Pinch of salt
Spices to taste (2 tsp. cinnamon and a little nutmeg)
2 tbsp. cornstarch
DIRECTIONS:
Pour all of the apple juice undiluted, except a small amount, over apples in pan. Simmer a few minutes. Mix cornstarch, salt and spices with a little of the apple juice so they will blend smoothly when added to the apples. Add to apples. Simmer until apples are done. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees.
